This is basically all of the different ways that the toy could make sounds (or at least the different KINDS of sounds it could make)
This is showing the way that the toy could be split up to be used by a couple of children at the same time
So the next couple of posts (I can’t figure out how to do it in one post) will be the videos I used to show the concept for my final design. They aren’t accurate in terms of what it looks like and exactly how it works, but they give a general feel and idea.
This is a great site, and was really useful for me in getting a good understanding of what Intellectual Disabilities involve

this is a really weird hand thing that makes noises as you move your fingers. I watched it without sound at first and I’m like “it’s not doing anything…” then i turned the sound up and was like ‘oh thats why…” :S but its pretty cool that it makes sounds because of body movement
This is meant to be a hovercraft…I’m not sure it works that well, but its still pretty interesting
This is pretty cool: its a thing that tells you if your coffee is too hot or too cold.
This is a light (i think…?) that uses LEDs, with different lights lighting up and different times. I found the use of the LEDs pretty interesting, so i thought I’d post it
This is a pretty random cat toy that I found a video of: it uses arduinos to make the string move for the cat.
This is site about making things, and this area is specifically about arduinos. The stuff up the top is just ordering different bits and pieces, but down the bottom it has a number of videos which explain how to do things with arduinos, which is really great for me, seeing as I’ve got no prior knowledge on any programming/electronics etc.
