A couple of great resources

A couple of sites that I’ve found that are very useful for learning about the different ‘types’ of disabilities. They are also good link sites

Child Development and Toys

A good article which has been pretty useful in helping me gain direction for my project. Basically talking about what the name suggests (Child development and Toys)

Stages of Development

This was really helpful in terms of when kids would use the toy: basically instead of thinking of it in terms of age, it should be thought of in terms of 3 different ’stages.’ The first one is the ‘experience stage,’ the second one is the ‘discovery stage’ and the third one is the ‘expanding imagination stage.’
